Ikebana Vase - Large Celadon

Ikebana vases (also called Camelia vases) have tubes to support the flowers. The tubes each have a hole in the bottom to let water in. Place your flower stems in the tubes and fill the bowl area with water. The water will go through the hole in the tube to keep the stems hydrated.

This vase is made made on the wheel from porcelain and a translucent celadon glaze that pools darker in the imprints.
